My moms death

When I was fifteen years old I lost my mom to esophageal cancer. That summer I fell apart. She had friends who were supposed to help and get me out of the house but barely did, so when mom found out she wasn't happy. It was also hard for my younger sister who was twelve at the time. Mom told me to find somewhere to go for the summer so I stayed with a friend and her mom. I thought since moms surgery went well she'd be okay, but I was wrong. Her lungs were far gone due to radi ation treatments. The day she died I called to talk to my dad and my sister told me no because he was napping which made me mad. I called my grandmother next and told her I wanted to known the truth of how my mom was really doing and had a rave rant fit. About ten minutes later my grandmother told me to come to the hospital and I broke down balling because I just knew she wasn't going to make it. They had taken her off life support. When I got to her room I hugged and kissed her.I told her I missed her

Help me with dreams

Please help me with my dream I don't like asking for help and need major help with this. I'm an author who just needs a little extra help reaching the masses. I have Facebook, Linkedin, Twitter,Google plus, a website, this blog, GoodReads, and not sure what else. I need help from who ever is willing to possibly help me. I don't have the money to pay for anything. All I'm asking for is people to share, comment, or leave reviews. I used to give free books away and I'm no longer doing so due to the fact only a few select were nice enough to read it and give me a review when they were done reading my books. I guess they possibly don't understand that it hurts as authors when people don't leave us reviews or share it with others to get the word across. I've even been in the local paper for every single book I have. I've done many different Author and Publishing type groups. I'm a single parent going to school. For me it's not that I want to get ri

Corn and peanuts are more severe. It don't test everything and I was referred to see specialist to have allergy test next month. My cholesterol was a little high. I've changed a lot of the ways I eat. I'm drinking more water. I'm doing this for me and my kids.I'm also working on being  more active. I know I can do this.

Did you ever make a wish on one of these?

Psychic Vampire Prophecies Series

I am currently trying to finish the last book in the series. I started writing it because I wanted something different than other vampire books. I want people to feel something when they read each book. I've put my all into each book. Check them out.

Lucky mom

My boys are extraordinary little boys. They are twelve and ten years old. As a family we're not perfect and have our struggles. We fight and say things we don't mean. We sit down and talk it out. Sometimes have to repeat myself over and over again. They help me when they can. They still give me hugs and kisses. When mommy is sick they help around the house and take care of me the way I take care of them when they're sick. I spend as much quality time with them as I can. They thank me and others.Sometimes I have to remind them. They support me and cheer me for going to school. I'm lucky to have two kids who love me as much as I love them.

Memorial Day Poem

They gave their life  for our freedom  They left behind family and friends  They're not ever sure whether they'll  be home for the holidays or whether  they'll make it home at all They face challenges we can't even fathom  Some make it home and so don't  The ones who make it hoe are scarred  You can't see the scarring that's imprinted  inside of them You can't imagine their nightmares  that are their  reality Some won't get to see their kids be born and will miss out on their kids  first everything and would do anything  just to be with them They cherish every picture and letter they have from family and friends  They are fathers, sons, mothers, and daughters  They chose to fight to keep us safe and free Pray for the families who lost them  Light a candle in remembrance of those who fell Share their stories of their life so they can be remembered and not forgotten  Don't just thank them on Memorial

Signs that your friend is an author

They clog their news feed about their books and other authors work. They are crazy. They talk to themselves and sometimes answer back. They constantly have ideas going. They have go go brain. They create their own world. They hide in their own world. They are always in lala land. They don’t grow up. They have wild imaginations. Sometimes our thoughts are all over the place and hop from one topic to the other. We help other authors to try to get recognition. Some of us do blogs. Some of us give free books just so we can get recognized. Giving away Free books doesn't help us. Writing our books took work. We want reviews. We hope people share and read our books. We also share book quotes or things that are book related. We don’t give up.

Things I'm blessed for.

I'm blessed to have 2 kids who love me, parents who adopted me, a mom who loved me(May she RIP.),a dad who helps and loves me, a sister who helps and loves me, friends who help me, support me, listen to me, and love me, to have the house I grew up in, the chance to go to college, passing my GED, having food, having clothes, being able to pay my bills most of the time, having a car, being able to spend quality time with my kids, family, and friends, f

Make time for friends

If people are dragging you down there is no need to keep them in your life. If they make excuses why they can't talk to you, text you, or even e-mail you then you've became an option. There is no need to keep people around when it's just convenient for them. I know people work, have kids, go to school, clean house, and other stuff that they have to do in their busy schedules. That's why you make time and set time aside for people you care about. People get so busy with making excuses and eventually one day someone doesn't want to hear them anymore. There is only so much a person can take. Some people need to learn to get off the computer, get off the phone, quit texting, and whatever technology that their playing with. Go see your friends. They might want to see you face to face rather than talk to you through a computer screen, phone, text, or occasional e-mail. It's called making time and managing time.I'm a single parent, part time student, photographer,

Part 2 of Weight Struggle.

This is week three of me working on my diet. It's small changes. I wouldn't even call it a diet. It's more like I've got to do this because I want to do it for me. I'm doing it for my kids and me. I'm not doing it for anyone else. I haven't totally eliminated all things that have sugar. I've just cut back on a lot of sugar. I didn't realize how hard grocery shopping would be until I decided to finally commit and do this change. Everywhere you look the junk food taunts you. It seems to be around every corner. My other thing that I'm having to work on is portions and realizing I'm full. I've also replace milk chocolate with dark chocolate that way I can still have chocolate and not lots of with drawls and mood swings. I've only been at it for three week and some days are better than others. Some days I am discouraged and other days I have that think I can and know I can attitude. I'm also working on trying to move my body more. I kn

Poem I wrote

It doesn't matter how long someone's been gone on how much it will always hurt They don't tell you the pain never goes away They don't tell you that every place you go that you went with them will make you want to cry They don't tell you that when you watch movies you used to watch with them that you'll cry They don't tell you that every song you listened with them will be a reminder You don't know until you go through it No person feels the same Sometimes we'll smile about the good memories Some days we don't want to crawl out of bed The pain might numb but sometimes you feel so raw One day at a time is all we can do Try to remember happy thoughts I know they're there We can either let our pain rule us or choose to live Even though we're the ones left behind they wouldn't want us to be miserable They'd want us to live and remember the good times By-Me

I wouldn't have even done it then if not knowing about self-published outlets such as createspace or lulu. What made you want to become a writer?
