Check in on family and friends

 As people we need to learn to check up on our family and friends more. Just ask how they are doing. The phone works both ways though.  We need to start making time and less excuses. We need to go see them. Go do things together.  Have BBQ,  watch a movie together,  game nights,  or other things. We aren't promised tomorrow.  Tomorrow isn't here. It is the present and today. Be there for people who care and love you.  Start making more of an effort.  People don't always know that you care or love them if you don't show it.

Keep trying

 Hope everyone is doing okay and if you aren't know that it's okay to not be okay.  Just keep trying to be the best you is all you can do.  Don't give up hope.  Seek help if you truly need it and getting help is nothing to be ashamed of.  You are trying is what matters.  Keep trying. 

Being your best self

 Talking badly about yourself isn't okay. It is not acceptable to constantly tear yourself down. We are all guilty of this. We need to learn to stop. It isn't easy.  I am very guilty of this. I have a bad habit of thinking I am not good enough even though I know I am. We are all good enough.  Have a bad habit of thinking I am a burden. I know in reality I am not.  Sometimes feel like I am ugly or bad things about myself. Some of it stems from people who said they would always be there and aren't there or the ones who aren't very supportive. I have had many over the years bully me and much worse.  They would call me lazy, fat, said I couldn't do it or wouldn't do it, that I wouldn't amount to anything,that nobody would want me, call me crazy, and the list goes on. I started believing what they said about me and then one day learnt that is a reflection of themselves not me. I am still slowly learning to love me. Over the years I have learnt that sometimes you

Stress and cutting people out

 When people cause you more stress than happiness it is time to take a break from them or possibly time to cut them out of your life.  You don't need family or friends who are going to add extra stress all the time. It isn't fair to you if they are constantly being negative or not respecting you. You can be there to listen but they shouldn't always dump extra added stress to your life.  Do what is right for you and don't be afraid to speak up.

Focus on you

 Don't forget to focus on you every now and then because it is important for your mental health. The world doesn't revolve around the people in your life and it doesn't revolve around you either.  It is important to do the things you enjoy doing not just what everyone else is doing. Don't let others waste your time.  Make time for you.  Learn to enjoy your own company. Enjoy the silence. Enjoy the peace. Don't always rush and be in a hurry.  Be patient. Do you.
