Expressing anger

 People argue and fight.  It is a part of life. It is our choice on whether we stay mad or not. It is okay to get mad. Words cut deep. We can't take them back. Sometimes we don't think before we speak. Sometimes we rant and rave which is okay but we have to live with what we say.  By letting others get to you then you give them the power over you.  It is okay to not like what others say to you.  We are in control of what we say and our emotions.  Don't let others rule it because by doing so they win because they got to you.  They got under your skin.  You can be mad at them and not feed into them. Sometimes we have to take a time out and just breath.  I understand it can be frustrating and like everyone is against you. There are people who are listening and want the best for you.  It is okay to express that you are angry.  Your feelings matter. Sometimes we just have to come back and talk about it when we are level headed and not in the heat of the moment.  It is okay to walk away and disengage yourself.  Everyone handles it differently and we need to learn to listen not just keep going.  Sometimes people get in the crossfire of 2 people or more they care about and it doesn't go well. You can either forgive or just move on.  Stewing and dwelling on it doesn't fix it. Talking and listening helps sometimes.  Other times you just have to tell people I am done or don't say anything but move forward.
