new poem

Did they take the time to know her
No they didn't really give her a chance
Told her what she wanted to hear
Sweet talked her
Used her
Lied to her
Broken promises
Told her they would always be there
Made it out like they loved her
Didn't love her at all
Kept breaking her down little by little
One day she had enough
Sometimes they broke it off with her
Other times she pushed them away
Didn't care about her
It was what they could get out of it
Used her as long as they could
Gone in six months or less
They wasted her time
Tried to break her spirit
Took her awhile to put the pieces back together
Where was everyone when she was going through this
So many didn't say anything to her
She didn't want to listen or hear the lectures

Stop giving the negative people attention

 Stop giving the negative people of the world so much attention.  Stop making negative people so famous for negative stuff. It's disgusting that the people who are doing horrible things are being given that attention. We as people see it in people's real lives and social media. Social media is where we need to start drawing the line. If we would take that attention away and ignored the bad behavior maybe just maybe they would see that it isn't good. People have turned negative into this is a social normal. It is not a social normal. Stop feeding the negative and toxic behavior. Stop saying it's normal.  I'd like to see more of you sharing people who are trying to succeed in life, build each other up, helping one another with small business or businesses, spreading love and light, helping people who are less fortunate, listening to others, being there for people who have depression, anxiety, PTSD,and much more.  So many could be successful if everyone supports everyo

Cursed House

  It's a dark stormy night this Halloween night. The clouds  are ominous.  You can feel the energy from the storm. 5 friends and me are staying in an abandoned house deep in the Bayou of Louisiana.  I had picked the place. My friends and I love spooky things. This year we are hoping for a good scare because last year we went to a cemetary and it was just a bunch of teenagers messing with us. We get to the abandoned house before it starts storming.  There is a fireplace in the living room and we light a fire to stay warm and cozy.  "Ari what is the plan?" my boyfriend asks. "I thought we would eat and check the house out after." My friends and I make sandwiches. We eat in the living room. While we are eating we hear kids laughing. We get up to see where it is coming from and find nothing.  It is  a big house you can get lost in because the house is made like a maze. "This house is strange," Joe says.
